Britax Companion infant car seat has made history as the first child car seat to offer True Enhanced Side Impact Protection. Today it represents state-of-the-art safety in rear-facing infant car seats. This ground-breaking Britax Companion product also features the in-car base, which makes it easy to transport baby from car to house without waking!

Highlighting the Britax Companion, and setting it apart from other infant carriers, the True Side Impact Protection head pad features adjustable, air-filled pockets that expand and contract around the child’s head for a customized fit. EPS protective foam, plus the full-comfort foam, makes every ride comfortable for your child.

A Height-adjustable base offers LATCH connectors complete with LATCH storage right on the base. The Angle recline adjuster is designed to help you achieve the perfect angle for your vehicle. On the base, a patented anti-rebound bar—not available on most infant car seats—helps reduce rebound movement in the event of impact. Built-in locking clips are designed to offer better installation and to eliminate the worry of losing extraneous parts.

The five-point harness system is easy to adjust and offers tangle free webbing. Britax premium comfort pads protect baby's delicate skin from coming in contact with the harnesses. Last but not least, you’ll enjoy holders for drinks and snacks, two fabric options plus a full canopy for ultimate sun protection from every angle.

This innovative child restraint system conforms to all applicable Federal Motor Vehicle Standards and is also approved for aircraft use.
